My Aunt Jo would be proud. I tried to make her famous decorated sugar cookies with my 2 year old daughter's help. Lucy actually was a pretty good helper. She covered the dough with flour, she helped roll it out, she helped use the cookie cutters, and she definitely helped decorate. She ate more sprinkles that day than I care to mention, but I know she likes to cook so hopefully she enjoyed this activity. Sophie napped during most of it, but she did hang out and watch for a little while.
I also threw together my Mom's no-bake cookies, while taking some artistic liberties. Next year I think I'll use pretzels as antlers and make them all look like Rudolph, if the girls will help me.
