The Cockpit

Our very last day we hit Downtown Disney one last time to use up our Meal Plan points, and apparently Lucy had to wear her Cinderella dress one last time. Took a few last photo opps with the Angry Duck and Mr. Buzz Lightyear himself.

And on the plane ride home Lucy was invited to go sit in the cockpit! She LOVED this! I loved this too. Maybe she'll want to learn to fly one day :)

Magic Kingdom: Last Day!

We spent our last day ending it where it all began. Back to the Magic Kingdom. It was such a nice day out this time. Lucy insisted on her Cinderella dress again. We were able to check out the standard Celebration show Mickey hosts on the castle stage and surprisingly BOTH girls loved it! They sat fairly still and stayed near me.

Beautiful Girl

We ate lunch at Cinderella's Royal Banquet and I was quite impressed. While waiting they got to take a photo with Cinderella and I was shocked that Sophie willingly went up and sat down on her lap. That was an amazing moment. She usually won't go to anyone but Mommy.

We were seated in a perfect spot. It must have been the first table that all Princesses started at when they would come out from behind a curtain, so they would make a bee-line right for my girls. I think Lucy felt pretty special. And this lunch included Jasmine which was neat, because she's not typically or easily found.

My dessert was quite clever I thought.

Beautiful Girl again...she can level me with her eyes. And that smile!

At the end of the night when we were heading to ride the Buzz Lightyear ride one last time, we happened upon a Stitch dance party that included Pluto and Chip & Dale! Yes! Chip & Dale were a must-see for the girls and I didn't think we could find them. But not only did the girls get to see them, they got to dance with them! Stitch, Chip, and Dale came out into the audience and danced and danced. Sophie loved this too. I only caught Lucy on video somehow, but this just made me so happy! Definitely a great way to end our visit.

We started off the day visiting the newest value resort, Disney's Art of Animation. I think we did this just to appease Mommy, but we ate breakfast here and took a few pics outside in front of the HUGE sketches.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

I like this park because it's not nearly as HUGE. You can do a lot in a shorter amount of time, which is good when you're dealing with kids who nap. We actually saw a lot more 'shows' this time, which is asking a lot of our little Sophie. But she did quite well, and sat through the Disney Jr. show and the Little Mermaid puppet show.

And we found another Mickey. It was his 85th birthday today! So we HAD to get a picture with him.

And then we discovered a newer private meeting spot for Minnie Mouse. In her "private dressing room". It was so beautifully decorated, and you got a nice intimate meeting with her. And the line wasn't even that long. Sophie just LOVED this. I so wish I caught this meeting on video. But she actually kissed Minnie on the nose. She just really loved meeting her favorite characters.

We ate dinner at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater restaurant, which was cute because you got to sit in a car and eat your dinner. It was nice and quiet in there. Pretty nice escape.

After dinner, we headed over for the Osbourne light show, a must-see. It did not disappoint again this year. And the girls just really love Christmas lights. They got into the music and Lucy had so much fun dancing. She's also learned to strike a pose for pictures.

Downtown Disney & Epcot Round Two

Today was supposed to be our "down time day". I was hoping to play at the hotel pool, relax, and let the girls take their normal naps. We knew we would do a little shopping at Downtown Disney, and once we got there it was just finally so nice (and warm!) outside. Yay! So we of course rode the little train and carousel, ate some breakfast, and then on a whim decided to buy another day of park passes. It's really not that expensive at all to add a day to your package. And I'm SO glad we did. We went back to Epcot that afternoon and did all of the things we were hoping to do the first day, including staying for the fireworks at night. It was an awesome time.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Lucy LOVES these guys right now!

We got to the Character Spot and saw the big ones. Sophie had such a hard time waiting her turn. She would just get SO excited when she would see the character. And she would sort of want to RUN up to them, but then not get too close. She still kept her safe distance, but the longer she was near one, the more she wanted to play with them and touch them.

Gorgeous weather. We stopped in the Mexico World Showcase for a snack and it was just lovely. Lucy ran around with the camera snapping photos, Sophie was relaxed and happy in the stroller, and Jay and I finally felt relaxed.

Lucy took the picture below!!! It's fantastic!

FINALLY! We found a live Donald Duck.

Waiting for fireworks.
