Easter

We spent Easter at Nana and Papa's this year.  It turned out to be a beautiful day!

Lucy got some quality time with Uncle Shawn.

Hmm...who should I call?

Hello?

...and yes, Mommy did let her eat chocolate.  She seems to enjoy the marshmallow bunny :)

Happy Birthday to Our Friend Taryn!

Happy Birthday to the cutest little monkey!  Our friend Taryn turned one!  She had two outfit changes, a beautiful purple tutu (every girl's dream), and an adorable little preppy plaid dress.  I just LOVED the picture I caught of her below...she looks so delicate, almost princess like.  It was at this point I thought it might be the last time I see her cautiously think about her next move...and sure enough Mommy Angela told me a few days later Taryn started walking (or rather running) and isn't quite so cautious anymore.  Now I can't WAIT for their next playdate!

PURPLE frosting!
I caught a couple pictures of the girls together.  Unfortunately I think this first one is my bully daughter stealing a toy away from Taryn.  Ugh.

And what is it with this age where they run around with their mouths open and just sing and/or scream?  I caught both girls in the act.

These next few pics are very special to me.  It's all of our offspring (so far) collected together in one photo!  My "best girl's" babies.  Luke (Juli's little boy) was such a good sport about being in the company of all girls.  He even was sharing!  He has the best manners!  Our little blonde heart throb; he definitely caught their attention :)

These last couple of pics aren't quite from Easter, but just trying out another dress.  We actually had a bridal shower to go to that Lucy attended as well.  I'm going to just tack them onto the end so I can remember what she looked like in this dress.  She is SUCH the party girl!

Nana's Visit

Nana had a whirlwind three day visit to watch Lucy!  I was told it involved a lot of books and an iPad.  Sounds like a fun time!

Nana also gave Lucy her very own set of mixing bowls!  Lucy can help Mommy bake!
But for now I think they've been turned into percussion instruments.

Good Morning Nana!  Who wouldn't love waking up to this face in these little PJs?

More Birthday Parties

Lucy had fun celebrating her cousin Maebry's 1st Birthday!  What a great place to play!  There was games, pizza, ice cream, and lots of play activities.  Happy Birthday Maebry!

Lucy's First Haircut

It was time to bid adieu to the "baby mullet".  Lucy's first haircut was a success.  It was rather uneventful actually.  I was picturing tears, stranger/danger, and many attempts to swipe at the scissors resulting in a scary bloody mess.  Instead she watched Barney on the TV in front of her little police car chair.  Apparently girls like getting pampered, according to Lucy's "stylist".  My Little Diva.
