4th of July

If I remember correctly, I believe the 4th of July was the hottest day on record this year.  With the heat index, it was supposed to feel like at least 110 degrees.  My little Lucy was pink cheeked all day, and we tried to keep Sophie indoors as much as possible.  But we all still had fun with family at our Aunt and Uncle's cottage in Antioch.

To the sprinklers we go! Cousin Ava and Aunt Norie helped show Lucy the way.  It was so cute...Ava would hold Lucy's hand to get her to follow.  She's a bit older...3 1/2 I believe, so she kept calling Lucy to come play.  Lucy is still in her own world, playing parallel mostly, but is finally getting into the action.  It's so cute to see her interact!  She tends to imitate whatever the older girls are doing.

Note the shoes...those are Ava's!  Lucy put them on.

I believe Lucy is saying here, "Uh Oh, What Happened?"

Lucy pretty much wore Ava's shoes almost the entire time outside.  At least Ava didn't mind!

Holding hands. So cute!

Little cousin Maebry, just a couple months younger.  She is adorable!

And Sophie being festive...
