My crazy girl was, in a word, "reckless" this fourth of July weekend. I know there will be the occasional bump and bruise or scrapped knee, and God forbid something bigger. But Lucy for the most part has been fairly free and clear of the usual toddler scars. I guess she decided to pack it all into one weekend, because over the holiday she was left with 2 scrapped knees, a gash in her upper lip, and a little cut on her cheek. (I have no idea how she got that because I swear her finger nails were so short.) Her favorite pastime was picking at her band-aid.
