A 40th Birthday Night Out

Daddy and I were able to go out again tonight! What used to be so rare is finally becoming a bit more common, at least for the month of March. We went out for dinner to celebrate Uncle Neil and Auntie Michelle's 40th birthday, and Auntie Pam came as well which meant there were 3 birthday cakes at our table. Our awesome cousin Melissa babysat for us and it was wonderful! Lucy just loved her, and she even got Lucy to bed for us. Sophie slept the whole time we were away.

As a birthday cake, I attempted to make a Hawaiian themed surfboard cake with images of their tattoos as decor. Not sure how well I accomplished the surfboard look, but those decorations were so fun to make!

Hazel made some yummy truffles. The white chocolate ones are cookies and cream. SO good!
We had these desserts after dinner back at Manjoo's house with wine and great conversation. It was SO nice to be out with all of the adults and we had so much fun. Hopefully we'll have more opportunities likes this down the road.
