A trip to Michigan! We took Lucy to meet her friends Taryn, Luke, and Dean in Michigan. The three kids dressed in costumes and wandered the zoo. It was somewhat cold, so Nana rigged Lucy's cowgirl hat to stay on by attaching it to a winter hat. Nana also helped hem the cowgirl pants. Lucy dressed as the little Jessie (from Toy Story). Taryn is the yellow lion, Simba from the Lion King. Luke is the fancy fireman with his family name personalized on the back!
This picture of the 3 of them is so touching to me. It's so special to see our little ones all together; some of my best girlfriend's babies. And they are all so close in age!

The petting zoo was hilarious. Lucy kept hiking up her leg and trying to swing it over the goats while continually saying "Wanna ride, wanna ride." One goat got the best of her though...Lucy was trying to walk forward when all of a sudden she got stuck. A goat surprised us by chomping on her Jessie braid! He ate the little yellow bow! I had to yank our the braid in order to free her. I love that Daddy caught this on camera.
Odd, but they had a singing mermaid that you could take your picture with there. Lucy was a good sport.
