Getting ready for a ride on the Polar Express!
Kids traveled to our Metra station decked out in their pajamas to take a ride on "The Polar Express". The night consisted of a goodie bag handed out to all the little ones, singing Christmas carols during the ride, listening to a reading of the actual book "The Polar Express", milk and cookies were handed out to all, and then a visit from Santa who boarded the train and handed out the "first gift of Christmas" to each child...a silver jingle bell just like in the story.
